Following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Lafayette’s Cajundome became home to America’s first Mega-Shelter.
Cajundome City tells the remarkable story of a community that came together to care for thousands of storm victims who had no where else to turn. It spotlights the compassionate leadership, can-do spirit, and great big hearts of Acadiana’s people.
